if i buy 32 bit can i upgrade to 64 bit after i install vista to save money like when i bought xp i bought sp1 to save money then when it was instaled i downloaded and instaled sp2.

They should be the same price, I dont know why the 64-bit would cost more.

And you can install the 32 bit version now and upgrade later, but you would have to buy another copy of Vista, which would be several hundred dollars. You cant pay the $30 and get the 64 bit version.

I would get the 64bit OS because your 1 your processor supports it, 2 it runs faster and smoother, and 3 it pays of in the long run. But the Cons are that the 64bit processing system can't support 32bit DLL's so some programs and applications will not work. It really depends on what you want. Performance or Compatbility.
You Decide
