32' LCD Gap

If I buy a monitor 32' Full HD 3D/Non 3D LED TV(Thin bezels of course :D) and use it as my primary monitor(Wall Mounted),then according to my current computer table I will have a gap of around 3.5Feet between me and the screen. Would that much gap be enough or should I get a smaller monitor.
And how much minimum gap should I keep between me and the monitor?

Ever since I fixed my keyboard slider on my table my current 19' monitor looks really small. And anyways I needed a new monitor.

I was trying to avoid going for a 26"/27" monitor since it is pretty expensive here. :D While the 32' TV is pretty cheap.
I have tried to purchase a monitor before but because of monetary issues wasn't able to but now most prolly I will get one. :D

32" 1080p TVs don't really make for good monitors. Yes they are big but they have horrible DPI. I would say either get a ~23" 1080p monitor or shell out the money to get a high resolution 26/27" monitor.

I know and earlier I was going for a 23' monitor only. But then decided against it since @ 3.5 Feet it seemed a bit small to me.
I was also thinking about a 27" Full HD TV.

I have used a 32' and it didn't seem bad to me since I don't game so much.
I usually use my computer for coding and movie watching and browsing and some other stuff which is done when minimized.

ALthough the panels I am looking at are IPS panels,32".

I just wanted to know whether 32" would be to big for a distance of 3.5' if yes then how much distance should I keep. :D

Ok Final question
3.5 Feet Viewing Distance + Pretty Often a distance of 8 Feet.
27" Full HD or 32" Full HD

Both LED IPS panels :D
Which on in the given distance.

I think the 27" should be fine and I am getting it really cheap.

I agree i've got a 27" coming in the mail today (about 6 hours) and from the reports i have heard 1080p is great for that size.

Please after 6 hours tell me how much distance do you necessarily have to keep from the 27" :D
