32 or 64 bit windows?

Hello, I am looking to buy my first gaming PC and I have decided to try and save money buy buying and installing the OS for myself. I want to install windows 8.1 but I don't know weather or not to install a 64 bit or 32bit version.

You will need a 64 bit OS because it has 16 gb of ram. A 32 bit OS won't use memory over 4gb.

As above, 4 GB or higher then it's an automatic 64-bit choice.
