32 versus 64

Most CPUs since about 2005 have supported 64 bit addressing.

You should be fine to install a 64 bit variant of Windows.

What's the max ram of the laptop? If it only has a max ram of 4gb then it's really not worth it in my opinion.

According to Belarc its 8G.

What else would I need to look at to see if a pc or laptop can handle 64bit OS? In addition to my laptop, I would like to know for the future situations.

Am I looking at this right? Under Intel's spec sheet of the processor it lists that the instruction set is 64-bit. You can see it in the link I put on the original post.

Always trying to learn.

Sorry to be such a bother. Just want to make sure I'm looking at these specs properly. Its my first time dealing with processor specs.
