360: GTA 4 really strange issue!

So for a while I noticed that while playing GTA4 my wireless controller would randomly disconnect, well, I finally narrowed down the issue. Whenever I use the shotgun in the game, the controller disconnects without fail. Any other guns are fine, but the shotgun makes my controller tweak out and disconnect. Anyone else experience this or know how to make it work right?

have you tried it with another:

controller?

version of the game?

console?

Batteries/battery pack?

That's some craziness, and I can't even imagine how that would work. There shouldn't be any way for anything that is going on in the game to have any effect on your controller being synced to your box.

The only thing I could possibly thing of us something that has to do with a hardware problem on the controller, and the specific rumble caused by the shotgun. Try disabling the rumble feature and get back to me.

Switched controllers and no problem! it was just the one controller that did it. Also on COD4 if i used an automatic gun it would do it too! So maybe there was a short in the vibration or something. In any case, I took it back to meijers and exchanged it.

Hi yes. I have experienced this and its reason was that 'your battery is running low' so meaning that if you have a charger for your controller and your controller has a re-chargable battery - either charge it up while playing or put a new set of non- chargable or chargable batteries in.
