Can 2 players from the same console play online?

Like playing Marvel Alliance or something... could 2 people play from the same console to meet up with someone from another one?

Only if the game has a guest mode or if you both have XBOX live accounts.

I'm not sure if that game allows you to, but other games have made it possible. Example, Halo 2 allows you to play online with up to 4 people on the same console.

After searching(for 30 seconds) the game says "number of online players: 4 online".

Yes it does, but only if both players have an Xbox Live account.

call of duty 3 allows 4 people to play on xbox live at the same time. But this splits the screen in to 4 sections and each player has to have there own xbox live account
