3870 GDDR3 an GDDR4 much of a diffrence

i bought my gigabyte 3870 about 3 weeks ago found out i's GDDR3 so i'm a little disapointed.
i was wondring if there was muck of a preformence diffrence between th GDDR3 an GDDR4 3870's?

Not really. The GDDR4 is clocked higher, can OC higher.

no, i highly doubt it will reach the GDDR4 clocks..

oh ok but hey my card plays every game i have on highest settings @1280 x 1024 including crysis but i don't know avout very high on crysis cos i don't have vista.
but u dont think there is much of a diffrence

Nope, think of it as DDR vs DDR2, where with DDR2 you can reach much higher speeds (DDR2 1200 vs DDR 500 for instance). So no you won't be able to overclock it as high as the GDDR4 version, however theres not that much of a difference in terms of real world performance.
