Just a bought and installed a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000 shows to have 128 on memory, but doesnt seem as good as the onboard video which only has 64memory. I thought the more memory the better it would operate. It is a PCI card maybe that is the problem. I disabled the onboard graphics. What could be the cause of not being any better than the original graphics??
Thanks for any replies........

More video memory does not necessarily mean better performance. The MX4000 is a low end card from several generations ago. Combined with the PCI Bus, it may not perform significantly better, or even as well, as integrated graphics (depending on the integrated graphics in question).

Have you installed the drivers for the card?

Yes I have installed the drivers, and show to be updated. I also though since it had its own processer it would help the graphics. Mostly wanting the card to help have good clear videos. They all have horrible color and graphics at full screen, but look fine when very small.
Thanks,
Brad....
