everything looks good. i might be reading this wrong but i beleive ur getting 2 gigs of ram. if ur getting 2 gigs for 170 dollars it might not be very good ram, try looking into some corsair xms or some of that high end ram. if u can fit it into ur budget.

Yeah some better ram would be a good idea. One more thing you could look into more deeply would be the monitor. There are better ones out there in the same price range.

Any comments/suggestions?
Very unbalanced system
1. Fairly low end CPU
2. Fairly high end video subsytsem
3. Midrange RAM solution
4. Low end harddrive configuration
5. Id get a CRT for serioud 3D work but that depends on how serious you really are

For a native resolution of 12x10, there's prolly not a lot of benifi in getting SLI since the 78GTX can handle anything you throw at it really, at 12x10. That money could be better used getting
1. The 4400
2. Much more memory: 3D graphics will chew out your 2GB of RAM so fast....
3. A better harddrive subsystem: start with 16MB NCQ/SATA3.0 drives and you'll have a decent start

everything looks good. i might be reading this wrong but i beleive ur getting 2 gigs of ram. if ur getting 2 gigs for 170 dollars it might not be very good ram, try looking into some corsair xms or some of that high end ram. if u can fit it into ur budget.
Granted but it is also a balance sort of: videogames are GPU bound mostly while 3D apps are limtied by CPU and amount of RAM

Corsair TWINX1024-3200PT 1GB Kit DDR400 XMS3200 Dual-Channel Memory w/Platinum Heat Spreader
each: $127 (2 x1)=$254
Thats standard high performance memroy. Depending on what you're doing, you're might be better off with more RAM

DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4
SLI AMD Motherboard - Retail $199.00
Damn nice board, the ASUS one is superior.
