3D MARK 06 Fails to launch

Hey guys,downloaded 3D Mark 06 and it wont launch,i get this error.

so i downloaded again thinking the download might have got corrupt but still the same problem?

whast the fix?...and before anyone says "Re-install" i have 3 x lol.

Make sure you install the DX9 that it asks you to install, if you click cancel, this is the message you'll get. I made the same mistake, lol.

wont it write over DX10?

Did you cancel the install?

Vista has both DX10 and DX9, that's how you can play games in both, remember? Like people could play Crysis in DX9, to get a higher FPS.

yeah i cancelled teh DX9 install lol,il re-inslall 3d mark now exept this time clicky yes

I re-installed btu this time during install it did not ask me if i wanetd to install DX9

WHY CANT EVERYTHING JUST WORK FOR ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That happened to me before, just re-download OpenAL and DirectX, and make sure you have the latest 3DMark06 hotfix.
