3d Mark 06

So in 3dMark 06 free version, the rig in my sig scored 17139. Is that about right? I ask this because in the CPU portion of the test, I got 2 FPS max, which I also got with my older E5200 Dual Core. Does that seem right?

I score 15.5k so it seems about right. '06 is a cpu speed whore though, vantage is more graphics card-orientated. You'd think 06 is but it's not. It depends heavily on CPU speed. That's why my dually at 3.8ghz and a 5770 isn't too far off your 17k

The CPU tests are designed to run at those frames. i get 2-3fps at best.

I think my rig scored around 23k with and i7 and 285, but my i7 was also clocked around 4.5ghz

Was you're E5200 overclocked? If you are comparing an overclocked E5200 to a stock i7 920, the differences will be even less.

Yeah I had the E5200 overclocked to 3.1 ghz on air.
