3DMark score question

So just ran 3dmark06 the free version and posted a score of 9731.

Specs are below and btw everything is at stock speeds i havent changed anything but install and load drivers.

however my question is whether or not that is a good score and how can i improve it??

Currently the only game i play is COD4. Thanks in advance

Your GPU is the only thing there which may be holding your score back a little bit.

+1 about the GPU, but being that it's stock it's a decent score.

Yeah, not bad. I've seen gaming rigs get much lower scores than that. I somehow managed to get a 16,000 with a dual core CPU. Still don't know how.
