im on my 3rd xbox tht keeps giving a disc error after like 10 minutes of being on...what kinda dvdrom drive should i replace it with? anyone know a good one that wont shit the bed?

Are you sure it's the DVD drive that is messed up? The problem could be your games.

well, leme say this, it could be your lens on your dvd drive, it could be your games, and have you tried doing anything to it "illegal"???and if you are sure its the dvd drive here ya go, ima say the samsung, but many people think its the version 6 of phillips........personally i think its the samsung though.
