4 GB on the way

All,
I'm upgrading my RAM to 4GB soon. I should just be able to pop it in and I'm good to go right? System specs in my sig. Thank you.

Yep. :)

Though, just personal preference, I'd back up all my important files and clean my drive, re-install Vista, get SP1, then stick the new stick in. Only becuase it's the best way to make sure everything goes ok. (SP1 first, because it fixes the 4GB RAM issue that Vista, stupidly for no reason at all I can think of, has.)

Good. Here's what the specs for MB say about the RAM:

Number of Memory Slots: 4×240pin
Memory Standard: DDR2 1066
Maximum Memory Supported: 8GB
Dual Channel Supported: Yes

I will have a 1GB module in each of the four memory slots. So, there's nothing I have to do in the BIOS regarding the memory settings? I was wondering if I change any settings for the dual channel or whatever.

You may need to manually change the timings in the BIOS. The rated timings should be printed on the RAM.
