4 hard drives and speedfan

speed fan only sees 2 of my hard drives and theres are the 2 internal ones that i have is this normal and does speedfan see external ones? is this me just being stupid? :D
 
Uninformed would be the term there. SpeedFan wasn't written to read off of external like usb type drives. It has no problem seeing two drives inside a case here. It even clearly distinguishes one drive from the other while both are the make and model.
 
SpeedFan essentially was written for the usual internals like cpu, memory, and even the hard drive(s) inside the case itself. It will monitor temps as well as voltages with a graph along with being able to toy around with settings at your own risk. You click on one button and it will scan the installed memory and list the total.
 
well, your external hard drive depends on the temparatrue of the room pretty much. So its normal speed fan won't reconize it.
