4 pcie slots

Sweet! But too bad you cant use 4 cards in SLI - because two of the slots are right next to each other, so you cant use double wide cards. :(

Cool! But its a tad expensive for a motherboard =) and I hear that SLi puts strain on the motherboard so I'm not really into SLi AND overclocking

How does using SLI put strain on your motherboard? Sure it will use more bandwidth from the PCI-E busses and it may require more processing by the northbridge, but it's not like it will cause the motherboard to stop working any sooner then without using SLI. Both using SLI and overclocking are great ways to improve performance, and get more for your dollar.

you need to plug in an extra molex connector onto the mobo when using sli at least thats what's needed on the evga 680i. after looking at the pics there is an additional power connector that is used for sli. the reason being expensive is because it was put on newegg like a day ago. i did a search for amd board and this didnt show up the other day i searched.

you said quad sli you can quad sli with 4 pcie slots. unless you're talking about dual dual gpu cards. quad = x4

theres no bridge for four cards though. so it is still 2 sli :) and if you looking at the specs it is 2 x16 and 2 x8 slots.

judging from the length between the slots i doubt you can sli 4 x 8800s theres no space for it :) maybe the 7950gx2, how big are those.
