4-pin molex extension?

Hello. I'm looking for a 4-pin molex extension and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy one? I need one that's at least 6 inches long. It's so I can extend the fan molex to the bottom of the case, to get rid of some wires hanging around the side window.

Also I was wondering, do LED molexs produce a lot of heat? What about SATA connections? If not, can someone post a good brand of LED molex and SATA cables? Do LED molex and SATA cables consume a lot of power? How will they effect my fans? Thanks in advance for answering.

Sorry, I thought all light-up things in the computer were called LED's, lol. Well, nevermind about the molex one. I'm interested in SATA cables that light up. I did a little searching around I think they're called EL SATA? I can't find one on a reliable site like newegg though. Thanks for the reply Bomber.

Yeah, i would just recommend getting a UV cathode, then getting uv cables. They will then glow when under uv light(ex- from a uv cathode);)

Would it work under a small UV cathode, like those 5" or 2" ones? The SATA cable that's connected to my HD goes behind the hardrive cage, so I can illuminate that part, but I'm not sure about the other end that's connected to the mobo.

5" would be alright, but if you have room in ur case the 12" illuminate nearly the entire case and are similarly priced;)

Yea, I was thinking about replacing the top cathode with a 12" UV one, and maybe writing over the traces on the motherboard and heatsinks with a UV pen, but my sis say's to leave it as it is (it's so annoying). It probably wouldn't work anyway, since the side fan blocks most of the motherboard.

Anyway, how well would it work with a blue cathode? I'd probably still have to be one 5" cathode, since parts of the SATA cable is hidden behind the cages.

is this the el wire you were talking about? http://www.xoxide.com/elwire.html?gclid=CMqr54iwkpoCFRIcawodp0tSNA also, if you want to have leds that plug into molex, make your own, the leds are available for cheap off of ebay, and they often come with the resistors for 12 volt, so you would just have to get a connector, the pins, and some wire, and for 12 volts, you need to have the positive anode(i think thats it) going into the 12 volt line(usually the yellow on molex), and have the ground anode going into the black wire next to it

I'm not sure if I know how to do that, lol. Well, I changed my mind about the molex LED, since I'm going to be hiding it under the case anyway. The EL SATA is a bit iffy now. I did a little browsing, and I think I need to plug it into a molex? I'm thinking of using UV, that way I can do a few other things. The EL mods on Oxide looks pretty good though.

*I just read a bit about EL wires, and apparently it does need a molex to work. I could ditch the EL SATA idea and just decorate my computer like crazy with EL, lol. I wonder which is better, the wire or tape:

I could make it crazy looking like this

That'd be so awesome... lol.
