4 pin to 6 pin with a 9800 gtx

My friend want 2 know if it is ok 2 run a 98000 gtx off a 500 watt PSU, but using 2x 4 pin to 6 pin? This cards needs two 6 pin power connectors.

You have to use both 6 pin power connectors. A 9800GTX Minimum is a 450/500W with 24/25 amps on the 12V rail.

I would try it out. If it doesn't work, you won't have a picture.

I have been told that those cards will run off of one power connector if you just want to display your os and not do some intense gaming
