4x - 8x

I searched this forum and didn't find my answer, and video cards are NOT my forte...

If my mb is a 2x/4x agp, can I use a 4x/8x card? What are some concerns with that? :)

yeah mate it will just run a 4x - and depending on the card you wont see a huge difference either

ok, thanks! I thought I was going to be limited to just the 2x/4x video cards, (they usually only have 32-64MBs). So, if I buy a good 8x card then it'll work in my current 2x/4x MB, and be good when I upgrade the board as well.
Thanks again, guys...

if you are going to upgrade you should be getting a PCI-e mobo not agp. buying an agp card would be a waste of money. i'm guessing the card is for games. just spend some more money and better quality.
