5.1 software?

my brother just bought some X-530 speakers. his mobo has all the required ports for the speakers, but his comp doesnt have a program where he can set them up...like on mine i have nvmixer, can i put this on his comp...or is there another program?

His motherboard drivers should have the program. Are they installed?

Ya if the drivers are installed then you can go in to the control panel and set them up from there.
