50 Degrees normal?

Hey guys... I recently bought a case that has two theremometors built in. Ive put the CPU one in the heatsink of the fan and the HDD is taped to the hard drive...

CPU reads 50 degrees Celcius about all the time
and HDD goes from 25 to 29...

Is the CPU temp normal?
 
Ok scratch that, The problem is the fan with the heatsink is sucking air in while the main fan on the case is blowing air out. is there anyway I can reverse the fan with the heatsink?
 
The thermister on the CPU HSF sounds broken, the fan operation is fine (if I understand what you wrote correctly). Your CPU should already have a built in thermister that can be monitored from the BIOS or speedfan/motherboard monitor/etc.
