There will be a pretty much overall increase in everything. You will be able to multitask better and games will load faster. Many good things will come but it also depends on your GPU and CPU.

If you play WoW, yes. Not sure why, but all MMORPG run heavily on RAM. I believe it's due to zoning, and all that good shit.

pretty much anything dealing with large files or large amounts of files will increase performance in bandwidth.
burning a dvd, video editing, hardcore high quality gaming, etc..
