56k out of my ethernet card?

Hey all. I recently purchased a 54g wireless router. Problem is: in my area there are no good providers of broadband. I am stuck using dial up! :( Argh! Anyway, I was wondering if there was some program I could use to re-route my 56k connection out of my ethernet jack and into my router. Here's a small diagram as to what I mean:

[56k connection]-->[56k card]-->-[computer]-->[ethernet jack]-->[router]

Is there something I can do to make this possible without a crossover ethernet cable? Help would very much be appriciated.

Windows XP should have some internet shareing things that would allow this. I normally use a proxy server because I think it's the easiest, but most people prefer other methods that are included with XP... Eh, sorry I can't be of much help but I really never used them...

For a proxyserver, just get one(analogx had a nice one on their site) then run it on your server. IT should tell you your IP address. Then simply enter the connection info in your browser's setup and other similar progs. It's actually quite simple.
 
I'll Sell you a 56K V.92 PCI modeom card for 5$ plus 3$ shipping for a total of 8$ this card was 50$ when i bought it and it still has the sticker to prove it. Still have the box and everything.

I have no idea about the ethernet thing though. :/
