Hello,

First of all, I wish you all the very best, good health, wealth and happiness for 2011.

I have got a question for you guys experts. Here is my current computer :
GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT-UD4P
AMD Phenom II X4 955 - 3,2 GHz
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5770 1Go
G.Skill Kit Extreme3 2 x 2 Go PC12800 Ripjaws
Western Caviar Blue 640 Go
Antec PC Three Hundred noir
Corsair VX-450W

I would like to know which choice would be the best, changing the video card or doubling the power (or almost) by crossfiring with another 5770 ?
Couple of questions are into my head for the latter, will my VX-450W be enough to supply power for two cards at full charge ? What about noise ?

Anyways thanks for your help guys.

Have a nice day.

i say get another 5770,unless your willing to spend around $250-300.since you got a 5770 already, just buy another for $119.99(cheapest) and youll get close to 5870 performance(within 5%) without buying a 5870 for $269.99(cheapest).basically what im saying is your geting 5870 performance for less more than half its price.for the PSU you'll need atleast 600w(with a good brand),i say 650w to give some head room.here, ill recommend some PSU's for ya.

Thank you sir, answered pretty much all my questions.

I thought the PSU would be a little too small, some tests showed the power at full charge for two 5770 + CPU around 410 W. Safety does have a price so I will go with a brand new PSU (thanks for the link I am gonna check it out).

Cheers,
