5770 WEI was 7.1 now 6.0?

just installed my 5770 vapor-x. Right away I evaluated it with windows experience and it was 7.1. I restarted my pc and re-evaluated and it says 6.0. What the hell? Im getting 16055 marks in 3dmark06. Why would it change? I'm using the catalyst drivers downloaded from the ati website.
 
Is that what fixed your problem? I can't believe the difference between this card and my integrated graphics! I didn't know igp was so bad!
Edit: Uninstalled then reinstalled catalyst drivers, it now says 7.4. Thanks man.

Does the 5770 have a power save mode like the 5870/50? If so that is why you get wierd scores in Windows. I had the same concern when my 5870 and then 5850 got 6.0 and the 7.7/7.8 later. Watch CPUZ or CCC when things run and you will see the freq change.
