5970 cooling.

Hey all,

I was wondering about watercooling my 5970. when i play bf3 on ultra i start to get some lag after 30 min of game play. will lowering the temp help out with this issue?

i assume my 5970 should be able to handle bf3 on ultra.

Also, what type of coolant and piping do you guys recommend? I was looking @ frozencpu but if you know any cheaper places let me know!

I have my doubts that it's actually the temperatures causing a frame rate drop. If you do go with watercooling, you're going to want to get an aftermarket top, that way you can actually use fittings.

For coolant use distilled water and a biocide, as far as tubing, plasticizer free tygon tubing would be the best you can get for a clear tubing.
