6 in 1 laptop memory card reader.

I have a HP 6510b Laptop w/ a 6 in 1 memory card reader built into the side. It has been working great for the past two months, and just recently it has stopped reading memory cards. I have tried mulitple cards and reloaded the driver for the reader with nothing working. Anyone have any ideas what I could do to get this working again? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Did you drop or hit your laptop lately? My current laptop (not the one in my sig) has problems with the DVD drive. After I hit it, it only read discs for about 1 hour after starting up. Then, it stops and I have to restart.

Anyway, when you put a card in, does windows give a beep/chime acknowledging it has been put in?
