600w not enough for the 8800GTX

Hi, i bought a OCZ 600w for my 8800GTX thinking it's was enough but it's not i guess. The thing is. My PC is really slow to boot. The first 5 seconds seem excruciating for my PSU. It seem the PSU have a hard time to send all the power require. The 8800GTX use 300w or more. It's like starting an old car on a cold winter day. Once it is started it's ok.

It seem to run fine after. Dunno for long period! And i just wish the 5 excruciating seconds at the begining of my boot may not be bad for my conponents.

What makes you think it's hard on the PSU. I mean yes, those are some very power hungry video cards, but a power supply either works or doesn't. If it's under too much of a load it'll typically overheat and/or cut out. If you're computer's going slow, there's something else wrong.
