The Phenom II 720 Tri-Core would run programs better than the Athlon II 620 Quad-Core because it has more cache (high speed memory) and a higher clock speed.

Take a look at the following heatsink for the Phenom II 720:

I'm 99% sure that's not the right stuff... AS5 would beat that stuff, but the real Shin Etsu (that G25 is hopefully talking about) is also sold by BomberBoySK

It really depends on what you do with your PC whether you need the extra cache but one less core or all 4 cores. It's a toss up on CPU power, they each have distinct advantages over the other-

But of course the 720 still has a chance to unlock to a quad as well, so I would still go for the 720 probably.

Yeh ive been out of X23-7783D for awhile now other than my testing supply and personal supply, still working on getting it direct from SE but at the low volume i sold its more expensive than what i was paying previously.
