64-Bit/Current DirectX/SLI/Gaming Compatible OS

Hey all, it's been a while since I posted on this forum. For a while I forgot the URL and whatnot. Anyway, I had this question . . .

Which current OS would support the latest DirectX, have 64-Bit processing, preferably have strong gaming support, but also support SLI?

This might seem like a stupid question to some, but the last time I built a system, I had to choose between Vista 64-Bit, DX10, but NO SLI. OR WinXP 64-Bit, DX9, SLI Capable.

I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but there were some more qualifications of each choice, but I just can't remember. If anyone knows and can help me out, I would much appreciate it. I've checked out this thread (http://www.computerforum.com/110490-32-64bit-os.html) but couldn't get any answers.

Windows 7 Home Premium x64 is for you. Features support for all of the above.
