I know a 32-bit Operating System simply means you can have 2 to the 32nd power possible physical memory addresses. 2 to the 32nd power = 4,294,967,296 bytes (4 gigabytes)

So what is the 64-bit Operating System maximum possible physical memory addresses? I tried to figure it out but I am running into problems. Is it 16,777,216 terabytes? I think I am doing the calculations wrong.

I believe it's 128 GB.
