64-bit Vista Ultimate

Im looking to upgrade to vista ultimate mainly because of the ability to have extra RAM, however other than compatibility problems is there anything else i should know? how do i go about getting a copy of the 64-bit version?

All the stores ive gone to dont have the 64-bit vista do i have to order direct from microsoft?

I've been using Vista Business x64 for over a year now without any major issues related to it being a 64 bit OS.

well i might get 64-bit as its the only vista that i can get easily. looks good if their are no problems.

well my tech teacher (i guess i can call him that) says that 64 bit os will run 32 bt programs slower since it needs to emulate it or something
