hi everyone
ive got a nvidia geforce 2 mx 400 which is 64megs and battlefield 2 which requires 128megs i want to know if i can use my graphics card aswell as my memory which ive got 1gig to run the game or do i have to buy a new graphics card

You have to get a more modern card with 1.4 shader support in order to play BF2.

The bare minimum supported is the Radeon 8500, however the minimum requirements listed on the game boxes rarely play the games adequately, in fact, most times the recommended requirements are what I'd consider to be a bare acceptable minimum.

The game officially supports:

Radeon X700 (PCIe)
Radeon X600 (PCIe)
GeForce 6600 (PCIe)
GeForce PCX 5900 (PCIe)
GeForce 5800 Series (AGP)
ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition
ATI Radeon X800 PRO
ATI Radeon 9800 Series
ATI Radeon 9600 Series
ATI Radeon 9550 (RV350LX)
ATI Radeon 9500 / 9700 Series
ATI Radeon 8500 Series
ATI Radeon X300 Series
NVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra
NVidia GeForce 6800 GT
NVidia GeForce 6800
NVidia GeForce FX 5950 Series
NVidia GeForce FX 5900 Series
NVidia GeForce FX 5700 Series

hes right, theres no way it could run, even on lowest settings, you can get a cheap card that will run it for under $80.

i can play the demo on lowest settings with my X300 256 MB if that helps
$60 but you can get a much better one for $200-$300
