64bit processor, 32bit vista?

Well I just bought a computer and it has a 64 bit processor(AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+) but the OS I recieved(vista home premium) is 32 bit. Is this alright? I checked on Microsoft's site but didnt really find the info. I was looking for. This is alright though isnt it? Having a 64bit processor and a 32bit OS isnt going to cause any problems, and I'll still get the use of both cores correct?
 
a 32bit o/s will make sparks shoot out of your 64 bit processor

and don't even get me started about the death pony........ it's watching you........ with it's glistening red eyeball
 
I've done it many times, and everything works fine. I mean, practically every since 64-bit processor before Vista came with XP Home or XP Pro (not the 64 bit version), and everything ran fine.
