64bit vs 32bit

One has 64-Bit support, one doesnt.

If you're asking which one to buy, dont buy XP Pro x64, as it has alot of compatibility issues. Buy Vista x64 if you're looking for a new OS.

Yes im sure, do not buy XP Pro x64. If you want a 64-Bit OS, get Vista.

XP Pro x64 is not very popular, and very few drivers are made for it, so you will have alot of compatibility issues.

Thanks a lot guys you guys now I will go with vista 64.But I still a question.Does vista also comes in 32 and 64 version? In my understanding I think vista is available only in 64 version. Is it true?

ok look im a hardware guy, not a software guy. what is the difference between 64 and 32 bits??? what does it mean? the amount of information that the os can operate at one time? if my win xp were to suddenly switch to 64 bit would i freak out at the performance change?

I believe that Vista Ultimate comes with both 32 and 64-Bit versions, but im not sure.

The rest you need to choose, but if you have a 64-Bit processor, I would get Vista x64 to make sure that your OS is "future proof".

No, lol. I've used both and I cant even tell the difference, but thats because there are barely any 64-Bit apps out there, and at the time no one used 4GB or more of RAM. But once those two things start to happen, you will notice the difference.
