I had asked a similar question to this a couple of months ago, but the issue has returned.
I use Piriform's Defraggler to defrag the C: drive. There is 65Gb of fragmented files and the file path is C:\System Volume Information\
Now I understand that this chunk of files is from the System Restore being turned on and that these are system restore points, however, I have System Restore turned off. I know this because when I access the System Restore settings I have the option to turn it back on.
I have my hard drive backed up so I wanted system restore to be turned off, and when I turned it off a couple of months ago the C:\System Volume Information\ that appeared in the File List of fragmented files was gone. Since it is back now, what am I doing wrong? Am I missing something?
