6600GT 128MB DDR3 Outdated?

Currently i try out the Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter .. and i exprience lag even when everything is set to the lowest @ a resoultion of 1280 x 768 .. so .. is it possible tat OCing will solve the problem ?

try lowering your resoltuion. OCing might help just a little bit, but i doubt it'll do that much.

I tried playing the same game with my geforce 6600 256 mb pci-express at 800 x 600 and not on full screen, with everything low, and it still has a bunch of lag. Might it be memory??? Also, I am getting a 7900gt, you should too, it should run the game perfectly on highest graphics i beleive.

i run a 6600gt and it runs at a fairly good pace, is your system running hot as you may be throttling which would cause slowdown

runs good on my X700 Pro, never drops below 20 FPS at 1074x768 with medium to high settings.

my graphic is running at 70* when i palying the game .. Processor at 50* ..

those temperatures are fine, something else must be causing the problem... could be driver related or infact related to something like a virus taking up resources

i downloaded my driver from Tweak R US and i OC it .. using a software tat i download from there .. virus ? not too sure if i have any .. but my ram hit 900+ when im palying the same .. where as i only got 1GB of Ram .. anyway .. my system onli score 696 in 3dMark06
