6600GT in SLI or single 7800GT?

Hi,
Ill be looking to upgrade my GFX soon, and i cant decide on either 2x XFX 6600GT in SLI, or one single 7800GT.

Now I know if i get one 7800GT, then it leaves the door open for future SLI, but now, what is better, Dual 6600GT's, or one 7800GT?

Single 7800GT. If you have SLI, you could always upgrade in the future! Plus less power requirements, less heat, less noise, less chance of problem ;P

Who know's what's wrong with that one... GPUs tend to be prone to lots of problems, particually the high end ones. I wouldn't get it unless you think you could return it to the manufacturer(which you apparently can't if it's for sale)

Ah well, I think Im gona go for an XFX 7800GT, ive had no problems with XFX.

From the sounds of it, i dont think he's put the power cable into the back of it. But for £40+ i wouldnt risk the purchase. Yea, XFX have always treated me good with my 6600GT too.

Problem is, I cant find any evga stuff in the UK, but I am thinking of getting the 7800GT from america, its cheaper (So long as there isnt huge import taxes)
