Well, I've scrounged up $670 to get me started in the world of PC.
Remember, I'm going to need an optical drive and windows 7...

[Case]: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147166 $50

[Motherboard]: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130662 $60

[CPU](I originally wanted this, but it's out of stock  . Any suggestions? should I wait?): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113328&Tpk=x4 750k

[GPU]:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125476 $210

[HardDrive]: I'm fine with 500 GB.

[RAM]: 8GB if possible.

[Optical Drive]:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106289 $18

[OS]:Windows 7 $100

Total(sofar):$438
That would give you... $222( it's 222 because i subtracted 10 for shipping) to spend on the CPU, RAM, HardDrive.
Help would be EXTREMELY appreciated.

My friend built a computer on a 500 dollar budget (already had case).

He started with the AMD A10 black edition

He had the same motherboard, and I was quite impressed with it. The click BIOS even has its own web browser if you opt to install it later.

I was rather impressed with the overall build he had. He plays warframe with it alot, but I don't know if that game takes alot.

Looks like a nice build. I wouldn't go for an apu because with your budget you can easily afford a discrete gpu. Consider getting a am3+ mobo and combining that with something like the fx 6300. That will give you an option to upgrade in the future to an octa core.
