6800 ultra

What happened to the 6800 ultra? Is it better than the 7800gtx? it cost about the same but most stores dont have them anymore (newegg tigerdirect)

Its a 470 dollar card. I was just woundering what the hell happened to it. It use to be "ALL THAT" now it like disapeared i see almost no1 with it and next to no well known internet stores having it.

just looked at ebay and its 300ish there but all other online stores is 400+.

I think it was replaced with the 6800GT, which although slightly slower would fit into a single slot (and was cheaper). Someone correct me if i'm wrong though, i'm not certain about this.

It wasn't replaced, just less sought for because of being so much more expensive. I'm sure it's out there still...

Yeah, it is still out there, but i dont understand why the price has yet to drop sence the release. Considering it has been "replaced" you would think the price would drop a lot, also the fact its no longer top of the line.
