My new 6800xt runs pretty hot...
70 at idle and mid 70's to 80's when playing games. Are these normal temps for a videocard or is the card at risk for damage?
 
That's not that bad, my card goes up to 76C while gaming. Video cards are designed to withstand more heat than the cpu.
