i am going to be running a core 2 duo e6600 on a evga nforce 680i and 2 geforce 7900gs

How many watts should i get with this configuration and i want to know what does eps 12v stand for and where does it connect.

Can any one show me the cheapest powersupply that supports sli and has a 8 pin power connecter

Get at least a 500W PSU with +12V@28A or more. The EPS12V connector is an 8-pin connector on the motherboard. Midrange Thermaltakes are average at best, a pair of 15A +12V rails is limiting. The Sunbeam Nuuo 550W will provide as much power at half the price.

I'd probably go for the Enhance 5150GH. There's also a nice rebate on the Antec NeoHE 550W. If you don't mind spending the extra money, the Corsair HX520W is a superb PSU. All have the EPS12V connector.
