ok I seem to have a problem installing windows 7 on my computer. I get through the cd part of the install abd it starts to boot from the HD but when it does I just get a black screen.

I had this problem when I installed on my old mother board that had an onboard video card. I had my monitor plugged into the video card and not the on board video plug in. Now that I upgraded my mobo I'm reinstalling windows 7 and my new mobo does not have an onboard video card and I'm having the same problem as before. I think the computer doesn't recognize my video card and won't display on it but worked fine when I boot from disk.

I'm using an ati 4670 hd video card trying to install 7 64 bit on seagate baracuda 500.

I tryed all of windows problem solvers and come up with nothing when I try and boot from the HD I see where it says starting windows then nothing I tryed the install drivers at the install page but once it goes to the screen that says setting up windows for first time use I get nothing but a black screen.
