700,000 files too much

I did a spyware scan on my hard drive. It scanned almost 700,000 files. Is that normal/too much? Could I cut that amount in half?

That's normal. It just depends on the amount of files you have stored on your drive. Unless, you are talking about the amount of errors it found, than that's different. To cut it in half, delete some stuff, or during your virus scan... do a custom scan and tell it what part of the drive you want to scan and what part you dont.
