Hey guys, I'm in need of some help piecing together a computer.

The Budget is $700 CAD, and it will be a work machine, with WoW and thats all.

The Cheaper the better, and don't need Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor, Speakers, but would like the budget to include the OS... Preferably XP Professional.

Thanks.

Does newegg Ship to canada?

Cuz I Just spent a bunch of time figuring out what is good... then I go to register, and it won't let me select which country...

Please tell me it ships to canada :(

damn, dumb newegg!!!

Yea, a crazy video isn't too neccessary, so i'll probably go for a cheaper one.

Would It be wiser to get two HHD's? like, an 60-80 GB one for the OS, and essential stuff... then a 200 Gig for files?

Would it be safer that way?

Thanks for the replys guys

It would be alot safer by doing that!! I have a 320gb for the os and programs and a 750gb for media. No kidding the prices in canada are high! I just bought my 750gb for $130 and it has 32mb cache!

oh btw, u can save some money by downloading your OS and taking an older computer key, and then call up support and tell them ur key is not working when u switched out your mobo and they'll give you a new one. U can, but u shouldn't. it is morally/ethically/legally wrong.

so don't.

another good Canadian store is "Canada Computers" lol i bought my stuff from them seem to know something at least lol. :D

Hope this helps.

TigerDirect is not that bad. Although the prices can be a bit off once in a while, they're a good site. However, my last experience with their MIRs... *shudders*

ive always been a die hard newegg fan so i dunno, some stuff on direct is cheaper but i get my stuff 3day shipped free on newegg cuz i buy so much lolz

im actually in the market for a new case i was looking at Smilidon case, looks super clean..if tiger has it cheaper then newegg ill go with tiger for once..lol

"Don't judge a book by its cover". This applies to cases also. Just because it looks good doesn't mean it's the best bang for the buck.

oh i know, airflow is a BIG thing in these computers, exsspecially for me i like my pc to run as cool as posible with the best airflow as possible...and its gotta fit all my round cable and the 100 cables off my psu....that are unused
