Hi Everyone,

I've finally decided to go with one of the following:

7300GT or 7600GT.

1. I wanted to know how drastic is the performance difference between
these two? (Please be a bit detailed, if you can)

2. I need to buy a brand other than XFX, because I've heard that XFX
cards are substantially slow. Is leadtek any good? And does brand choice
really make that much of a difference?

3. Can someone rate the following cards
out of 100? (Performance only, not taking into account the price)

7300GS (___ out of 100)
7300GT (___ out of 100)
7600GS (___ out of 100)
7600GT (___ out of 100)
7900GS (___ out of 100)

Thanks.

The 7600GT is far superior in every way. And there is nothing wrong with XFX.

The 7600GT will actually allow you to play games no medium/high settings :)

yep, 7600gt has 12 pipelines... vs the 7300gt's 8.
the more the better...
you know as compared with geoff's 96 stream processors. lol

Just for one thing: it should pop in front of you: Numbers are higher, so is speed.

2-I never heard such things on XFX, but if you want another brand, get EVGA.

The rating? Sure.
7300GS: 44/100
7300GT: 69/100
7600GS: 90/100
7600GT: 100/100
7900GS: 112/112

The thing I has from the GS is Hyper memory. It has 128 and will expand to 512 if your PC has enough RAM. That thing is the WORST thing I've ever seen.

personally, i'd get the 7600gt.
it'll play games at a decent quality with a decent framerate.
the lower 7300 cards will only play on low quality with a decent framerate... for say oblivion... it really depends on the game though, the 7300 cards would be fine for CS:S

if you do end up with a 7300 at least get the GT you'll be disappointed if you get the GS.
