750a sli video card problem

okay so i built my new comp today, which i will give the specs to in a moment, and everything worked out fine. (a few little tweaks and issues, but i pulled through) now the problem is, when i put my graphics card in, neither the onboard graphics nor the video card itself works, but if i take the video card out of the motherboard, the onboard one works. i tried installing the drivers for the graphics card, but its saying that its not even installed (i put it in while the comp was on and everything was loaded, tried restarting and same problem.) i read around and found that there is a graphics issue with pcie cards or something and that a bios update could solve the problem, thing is i cant seem to find this update anywhere. does anyone any idea how i could fix this.

System Specs:

750a AMD SLI Mobo
3.1Ghz 6000+ AM2 Processor
4 GB Supertalent 800MHz RAM
320GB western digital Hard Drive
and the graphics card is a grforce 9500 (which isnt working)

i know for a fact that this card works, cause we took it to the exeprt (HAHA) and they tested everything and the video card worked on a different motherboard (we found out that tiger direct sent us a faulty 750A and then sent us a new one, which is the one im having this issue with)

any other information i will gladly give out

thank you in advance

Im not very bright on the sli stuff but do you have to physicly turn off the on board one to get it to use the primary one>?

im not posative, but when scanning through the bios, it asked if i wasnted to use hybrid sli, which is sli the board graphics and the graphics card, and if i wanted to load pcie-2.0 slot one, two, or the onboard graphics first, i tried both slots with hybrid on, nothing, i tried both slots with hybrid off, nothing i tried it with onboard loaded first and hybrid on and off, nothing. i know for a fact that the card works, cause they tested it at my near-by comp shop.

im just kinda confused, i learned that i messed up, and in the end, had to reinstal the rc of windows 7, and i cant do ANYTHING unless in safe mode, when i try to go into ocmputer, control panel, documents, anything, it says i dont have the proper permission... im just at a loss, im trying to install all the drivers, and the windows 7 updates as we speak, in order to see if this fixes the problem...

try going back into a different windows that you have laying around, vista , xp, ect. Then if you can try that videocard in a different computer

btw mabey i just cant read or something but what kind of videocard do you have? are the drivers for windows7/vista?

Geforce 9500 im not sure if its a gtx or gt or anything like that but its a 9500, i tried it on a different computer and it doesnt work, but what confuses me is that my local hardware shop tested everything and the videocard checked out. the driver cant even be installed because the computer doesnt even know it is plugged in. as i said before, i read that this particular board had some issue with its pcie slots, and they had a bios update to fix it, but i cant find the bios update at all.

other than that i am open to any new suggestions

Look in the bios and see if you can set what video it looks for first, if there is, set it from Onboard to PCIe

as i stated from the previous post, i did that, 15 times if not more in every combination there was available (video pcie slot 1, video pcie slot 2, onboard graphics, PLUS hybid sli) a hell of alot of combinations, and i tried the all. pcie slot one with no sli hybrid, pcie slot one with hybrid sli, pcie slot number 2 no hybrid ect ect... non of them worked i have literally tried everything, which is why i am asking you guys, the experts. YES the card works YES i tampered with the bios NO THE DRIVERS WILL NOT INSTALL BECAUSE IT DOESNT EVEN THINK THE CARD IS THERE, THUS IT WONT ALLOW ME TO. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING IN MY KNOWLEDGE, that why i need yours...
