7800GT much of an improvement over a 6800GT?

apparently, compare the 6800GT with the GS, the GS benches better then the GT due to its speeds, but the GT preforms better in Games due to its 4 extra pipelines, now, add 4 MORE pipelines and extra speed? its gotta be much better, unfortunatly i cant afford a 7800 anything right now to give you an answer

well,.. i got someone here who sells his 7800GT ( asus) for 200 euries.
i can sell my 6800GT for about the same ( maybe 180 euries. )
so, im thinking about going for the 7800GT, but im not shure yet.

The 7800GT is a reall nice card, it usualy overclocks well (not mine though), from my small overclock I got an extra 1000 3dmark05 points. But stock its very good, I just regret that I didnt get the GTX. I wouldnt upgrade just yet, the 7800GT isnt that much better than the 6800GT.

Well in general, with things at stock, the 6800GS will be an inferior card (albeit slightly) to the 6800GT .. which is how its meant to be

I dont see why there is even a question. You get a new videocard for 20 euros
