I just bought a new motherboard and power supply. When I looked at the PSU, I saw a 4 pin molex power connector for the motherboard, but I also recognized a second one next to it. Now, that only seemed like a problem at first because I was unfamiliar with the double-connector setup. My new motherboard has a plug for one, and the other is covered up. So, my question is, "Why?" Do I need to uncover it and use both? Do I only use one? My only guess would be that it has something to do with multicore processors, but I really have no idea.
