8 Series Debut

I do not know what to do. I am getting a new graphics card and have been thinking and want the 7900gt. Now i hear the 8 series is coming out. Should I wait for it, or go ahead and buy the 7900gt at its reasonable price?
 
if you want to pay a huge premium then go for the dodge ram xt
if you want to get a car close get the dodge ram.

in other words get the 7900gt

the 8 series is probably gonnna involve dx10 which dosent compat with current systems.
 
The 8xxx series should be DX10 cards so they will be seen around the release of Windows Vista, which should be released in 2007 from what I've heard.
 
microsoft has a good year coming up theyl have there direct competition with sony and i like ps3 over 360 but with what sonys doing they are gonna get blown away by m$ the idea of taking away rentals and used sales will kill them and 360 has a realy good line up so does 360 but sonys gonna die from the no rentals idea and vista is awsome i downloaded windows mesenger live 8.0 beta and its awesome its the new msn that will be for vista
 
If I was in your position and could wait a bit, I'd get a 7900 when the 8 series comes out. That way you can get the power that you need, but the price will have significantly dropped at that point...

Well...I did too. To some extent.

If you're dislexic, you shouldn't be rushing, as you say you do in your sig. Take time to spell correctly.
